Tired feet? We’ve got just the (bus) ticket for the Great South Run
Runners and supporters heading to the Great South Run in Portsmouth on 19 and 20 October are being encouraged to leave their cars at home and take the bus.
In partnership Portsmouth Council, First Solent buses have created a dedicated Park & Ride service – the PR4 - for participants, spectators, and supporters. To get runners into the city, the PR4 service will run direct, throughout the weekend from the Portsmouth P&R site at Tipner, to Clarence Pier in Southsea.
After the event on Sunday 20 October, First Solent is also offering tired feet a lift, with FREE travel home for all runners, across all its routes (1, 2, 3, 7, 8), as well on the HoverBus service. To take up the offer runners simply need to show the driver their medal.
