Portsmouth Football Club get on board with First Solent

First Solent, by First South is proud to announce its corporate partnership with Portsmouth Football Club for the 2023/24 season.  As a long-term operator of bus services in Portsmouth, the new partnership marks First Solent‘s commitment to serving the community it operates in. 

First Solent will work with the club to encourage supporters to make use of public transport and to provide them with a sustainable way to travel to games at Fratton Park. Football supporters will be able to use First Solent’s Service No 1 as direct link to Fratton Park. 

The partnership further cements First Solent’s commitment to Portsmouth and surrounding areas, with its investment in 62 electric buses to serve the city by March 2024, and its new depot planned for Hilsea.
